About

Damaged by Design is written and illustrated by Devin "J'ai" Goodman. The website is powered by TENACITY 3.5, the CMS for people who'd rather make an HTML file than use a web-based control panel. The characters and situations depicted in DbD are fiction. That means that I get to make shit up, so hold off on those "x part of DbD is innaccurate" emails. Any similarity to any persons, living or dead, is entirely "coincidental" and "unintentional." DbD is not intended for minors. Likewise, my email inbox is not intended for irate parents. Don't take yourself or anything in DbD too seriously, it's bad for your blood pressure.

Frequently Levelled Criticisms

Shouldn't that read "Frequently Asked Questions?"
I don't expect to get many questions.

When does DbD update?
When I get done with it, usually around midnight, Mountain Standard Time. Follow the DbD Twitter for immediate updates.

Is there an RSS feed?
Nope. This is due in equal parts to design decisions I made with TENACITY and my own laziness. (If you're honestly that interested, email me and I'll explain it, but it's boring and the explanation won't get you any closer to RSS in TENACITY.) But as luck would have it, the DbD Twitter does have an RSS feed, and I make a point of updating it with a link to every new DbD strip, as well as any DbD-related news.

You spelled "Inglewood" wrong.
Nothing I love more than Californians telling me I've got my hometown wrong. DbD takes place in Colorado, with the characters living in Englewood, a suburb of Denver. This saves me the trouble of inventing place names when I can just use a dartboard with a map taped to it.
